The action plan of the pilot was established by Zina Fresh Company in line with its commercial strategy. The team of the SASS III project did not intervene with the conception or management of the activities conducted in the farm, but it was allowed to organise and pay field visit to collect data and information related to the technical and economic performance of the agricultural system.

An agricultural plan similar to those of previous years was implemented. Hence, the crops were conducted on artificial substrates which do not require crop rotation. The action plan include mainly:

• 3 hectares of multi-span greenhouses used for the cultivation of cocktail tomatoes;
• 4 hectares of multi-span greenhouses used for the cultivation of cherry tomatoes;
• 4.4 hectares used for the cultivation of eggplants conducted under tunnels.
